SDA — Spatial Decoder Atelier
AppPlay local spatial audio with AirPods head tracking
SDA is a local audio player with its own surround-to-headphone renderer and experimental AirPods head tracking. On Windows it reads motion through a Bluetooth profile driver. On macOS and iOS it uses Apple's CoreMotion.
Windows motion needs a test-signed driver and works only with the AirPods models it lists. The iPhone release is an unsigned IPA you must sign and install yourself, and its motion documentation still calls for hardware validation.
It plays local unencrypted media only. It doesn't reach streaming services or reproduce Apple's personalized spatial audio.
