Plug-inUse your Nest thermostat in Scrypted
This plugin brings Nest temperature, humidity, heating status and thermostat controls into Scrypted, a home automation and camera server. It reads Google’s official Smart Device Management API and receives state updates through Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
You need Scrypted, its Cloud plugin, a Google Cloud project and the one-time US$5 Device Access registration. Use a Pub/Sub topic in your own Cloud project rather than the retiring Google-hosted topic described in the README. Reads and commands still depend on Google’s cloud; thermostat schedules, separate sensors and Heat Link hot-water control are unavailable.
