Plug-inUse Nest in Home Assistant automations
This integration brings temperature, humidity, heating status and thermostat controls into Home Assistant, a home automation server. It reads and changes your thermostat through Google's official Smart Device Management API, so its readings can be recorded alongside your other home sensors.
You need a Google account, a Google Cloud project and the one-time US$5 Device Access registration. It still needs Google's cloud, and the API does not expose thermostat schedules, separate temperature-sensor readings or Heat Link hot-water controls.
