Use Nest sensors and heating in Home Assistant

Nest Legacy adds thermostat controls, temperature sensors and heating information to Home Assistant, a home automation server. It uses the private web APIs behind Nest and Google accounts, including thermostat and Heat Link data.

You install the custom integration and copy account session credentials using its documented Firefox or Safari steps. It needs no Device Access registration fee, but it still depends on Google’s cloud and may require fresh credentials when a session expires.
