SavvyCAN
AppCapture and decode your car’s CAN traffic
SavvyCAN records CAN messages through a supported adapter and turns them into tables and graphs. It can also open saved logs, including OVMS CRTD files, and use a DBC definition file to give raw messages names and units.
You need a computer and a raw-CAN adapter such as WiCAN or Macchina with compatible firmware plugged into the diagnostic port. Ordinary ELM327 dongles are not a direct capture interface, and the app can transmit messages as well as receive them; decoding vehicle-specific readings requires matching definitions.
