Command lineRecord raw CAN data on a Linux computer
can-utils supplies command-line tools to display, filter and save CAN traffic through Linux’s SocketCAN interface. It also includes tools that inspect ISO-TP diagnostic messages and convert saved CAN logs.
You need Linux and an adapter exposed as a SocketCAN interface; WiCAN’s slcan mode is a documented route. These tools work with raw frames rather than a ready-made dashboard, and the package also contains transmit and replay commands that can change what the car receives.
