Download and flash Samsung firmware from one tool
samloader is a command line tool, written in Rust, that downloads official firmware from Samsung's servers and flashes it to a Galaxy in Download mode over USB. It decrypts the download as it arrives, can fetch with several parallel connections, and also checks .tar.md5 files, dumps the partition table (PIT) and reboots a phone into Download mode.
You need a computer with a USB cable and the firmware's model and region (CSC) codes. Its flashing code is a Rust port of Heimdall, an older open-source Samsung flasher. The README lists no tested models, so support for a given phone is unverified; the Magisk guide uses it for the Galaxy firmware step.
Flashing firmware, particularly a patched AP file on a phone with an unlocked bootloader, can trip the Knox warranty bit and wipe data. On Linux, run its fix-usb command to add the USB permission rule.
