Flash Samsung firmware from Linux, no Wine needed
odin4 is a command line firmware flasher for Linux that implements Samsung's Thor USB protocol. It reads the phone's partition table, checks the BL, AP, CP and CSC archives against it and flashes them in Download mode. A --check-only option validates everything without writing.
You build it from source with CMake and install a udev rule for USB access. It is an independent Apache-2.0 reimplementation, not Samsung's own Odin, and the README lists no tested models, so support for a given phone is unverified.
It also has options such as --efs-clear and --bl-update that change protected partitions. Use them only deliberately.
