Self-hostedKeep your own Roomba history and live dashboard
Log Roomba status to your own SQLite database and watch battery, cleaning phase, bin state and errors on a live web dashboard. The local collector also reads onboard schedules and preferences and offers basic mission commands. A Roomba 692 was tested end to end; the 900-series route is based on protocol documentation and fixtures.
Run the Python collector and API with the web frontend, or use Docker Compose. Initial pairing can be local, with an iRobot cloud-login fallback when firmware blocks the handshake. Everyday traffic stays on your LAN, but the robot accepts one local connection at a time, and completed map collection is outside this project’s current scope.
