Control another computer through its HDMI and USB ports
A PiKVM build streams another computer’s HDMI output to your browser and sends keyboard and mouse input over USB. It works at the computer’s boot screens and can mount virtual installation media; compatible extra wiring also allows remote power control.
Follow the specific DIY V2 build for your Pi and capture hardware. You need more than the board: supported HDMI capture, USB gadget wiring, storage and a safe power arrangement are essential. Pi 4 is the straightforward documented route; Zero 2 W has connection and performance limits.
