Run your own firewall and VPN on the Vault

pfSense Community Edition turns the Vault into a router and firewall with a browser interface. Create network rules, separate devices with VLANs, inspect traffic and connect remote users or sites through a VPN.

Install the AMD64 Community Edition image on the Vault storage drive, replacing its current operating system. Save the existing configuration and check the physical WAN and LAN ports first. The Netgate Installer route requires a free store account and internet access during installation; CE does not require a paid Plus subscription.
