OVMS Home Assistant
Plug-inUse OVMS readings in home automations
This integration reads the metrics your OVMS module publishes through its documented V3 MQTT protocol. It creates Home Assistant sensors, battery-cell information and location entities from the data your vehicle module actually provides.
You need Home Assistant, an MQTT broker and an OVMS module configured to publish to that broker. Vehicle support follows OVMS rather than a car-maker cloud API, and this integration cannot add missing car-side measurements. It also exposes command services that can operate supported vehicle functions.
