Make ESPHome sensors from Bluetooth car readings
This ESPHome component polls a Bluetooth LE ELM327 adapter and publishes the readings as sensors. ESPHome is firmware for small home automation boards; it can pass the sensors to Home Assistant or use them in a local display.
You need a BLE-capable ESP32, an adapter and a YAML configuration with the right Bluetooth identifiers. Standard OBD-II and custom Mode 22 PIDs are implemented, including GM and PSA examples, but the author labels the component experimental and unverified. A vehicle only provides the PIDs its computers support.
