OsmAnd External Sensors
Plug-inRecord PineTime heart rate with your route
OsmAnd External Sensors reads live heart rate from InfiniTime over Bluetooth and adds it to recorded GPX routes. OsmAnd, an offline mapping app, can show the current reading and graph it after a trip.
Use the free OsmAnd~ Android build from F-Droid, an open-source app repository, and enable External Sensors and Trip Recording. The ordinary store version locks this feature behind a paid OsmAnd offering. Confirm that the heart-rate widget is receiving readings before recording; an owner reports gaps even when the connection works.
- Record live heart rate in another app
- Keep useful activity and sleep history
- Heart-rate values embedded in GPX tracks
- Live map widget and post-trip graphs
