Razer settings on Windows 11 without Synapse
OpenSynapse is a Windows 11 app that reads each connected Razer device over USB HID (the standard USB device protocol) and shows only the controls that device answers. Depending on the model that means battery, DPI and DPI stages, polling rate, lighting, onboard button mapping, keyboard Fn behavior, and headset equalizer, sidetone, noise cancelling and game/chat balance. Its core controls need no Razer account or Synapse.
Its docs list 389 USB IDs, 136 mice, 96 keyboards and 40 headsets among them, and say a listing does not mean every control was tested on every model. Synapse should be closed first so the two do not fight over the device, and the build is unsigned, so SmartScreen warns on first run. Some headset audio features rely on Razer's own THX component, which the app offers to download from Razer. Its optional Blade laptop driver and THX audio components are outside this peripherals page; core device controls do not require them.
