Use wrist movement for experimental seizure alerts
OpenSeizureDetector receives movement from a PineTime running PineTimeSD firmware over Bluetooth and analyses it on an Android phone. It can sound an alarm and send configured SMS or local-network alerts when it detects a seizure-like movement pattern.
You need Android 8 or later, the project's firmware and a phone kept within Bluetooth range. The project says it is not a medical device and has not undergone clinical trials; its setup guide reserves reliable heart-rate alerts for Garmin watches, and an open issue reports missed seizures.
