Plug-inUse FRITZ!Box readings and Wi-Fi in openHAB
The TR-064 binding connects your FRITZ!Box to openHAB, the home automation system. It can read supported router status and presence information and expose Wi-Fi controls through the router’s local interface. A public upstream report confirms working channel updates on the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX.
Run openHAB on a separate host and enable the router’s local application access with a dedicated account. Available channels depend on the router and FRITZ!OS version. Discover the actual Wi-Fi services before adding controls; numbered Wi-Fi channels are not interchangeable across models.
