Plug-inBring Wi-Fi and presence controls into Home Assistant
FRITZ!Box Tools connects to your router locally and adds connected-device presence, connection readings and supported Wi-Fi controls to Home Assistant, a home-automation system you run yourself. You can use those readings in automations, switch guest Wi-Fi, or trigger supported reconnect and restart actions.
Enable the router’s app access through TR-064 and its UPnP status setting, then create a dedicated user with the documented permissions. Supported repeaters expose fewer functions than routers, and presence detection can lag behind a device leaving the network.
