FirmwareRun plugs, lights and switches without Tuya's cloud
OpenBeken replaces the Wi-Fi module's firmware with local controls, timers and MQTT, a messaging protocol used by home automation hubs. It can drive relays and lights directly or exchange settings with a separate Tuya MCU inside the device.
Choose a firmware build for the actual chip and a device template that matches its wiring. Installation usually needs a serial adapter unless a compatible wireless flashing method is available; Smart Life and Tuya cloud functions stop working after replacement.
