OpenRing
AppLive video and talkback from your Mac
OpenRing puts Ring live video, talkback and camera controls in a Mac menu-bar app. It uses your Ring account through Ring’s private API and can play or export existing cloud recordings.
Install the published macOS app and complete Ring’s two-factor login. Live view does not need Ring Protect, while cloud recordings do; optional AI scene analysis sends camera images to Anthropic and requires a separate API account.
- Open your live view faster
- Keep your recordings on your own storage
- Menu-bar camera access
- Push-to-talk audio
- Export existing cloud recordings
