Install community instruments and effects on your MPC
The Open MPC desktop installer browses community plugins, checks downloads and installs a selected batch on a modified MPC or Force. It backs up settings before installation and can remove plugins or register plugin folders.
You need an already modified unit with root SSH access. The current plugin releases require MPC OS 3.x; the reference hardware is Force on OS 3.9.1. This route is for personal, noncommercial experimentation on hardware you own. The repository includes an MIT code grant; plugins and vendored components keep their own terms.

Akai MPC and Force
Limited support on selected models
MPC X (partly), MPC Live (partly), MPC Live II (partly), MPC One (partly), MPC Key 61 (partly), and Force (partly)
MPC X, MPC Live, MPC Live II, MPC One, and MPC Key 61: Gen1 compatibility; requires root SSH
Force: Tested on OS 3.9.1; requires root SSH
