Overcast
Plug-inAdd granular textures to a modified MPC
Overcast adds granular textures, looping delay, spectral effects and resonators as an insert effect on first-generation MPC hardware. Its modulation page adds envelopes, LFOs and Q-Link controls, and a MIDI track can play the effect melodically.
You need an already modified 32-bit ARM unit with root SSH access; stock MPC OS cannot install it. The author tested MPC X and expects Live, Live II, One, Key 61 and Force to work.
- Add new sounds and effects
