Print diagnostic readings as text or JSON

The obd2 command-line tool reads live values, trouble codes and vehicle identification through an ELM327 adapter or a Linux SocketCAN interface. Its watch command prints repeated readings as text or one JSON object per line, ready to save or use in another local tool.

Install the Go command on a computer and connect a USB, Wi-Fi or serial Bluetooth adapter to the OBD-II port. Serial speed must be configured separately, SocketCAN is Linux-only, and manufacturer-specific data needs known definitions; clearing codes resets readiness monitors.
