Simple Touch setup bypass
Use a reset Simple Touch without registering it
This button-and-touch sequence skips the Simple Touch's registration screen and takes you to the home screen, where you can read your own books. It's a public Reddit how-to with no stated license, not software you install.
Barnes & Noble retired registration for this model in June 2024, so a reset reader can't sign in to get past setup. You need working page buttons, and the store and account features stay gone.
