These Magisk modules for the GlowLight 4 Plus turn off its automatic update services and let the page buttons wake the reader. A patch for KOReader, a free reading app, puts the Nook into deep sleep between page turns to save battery.
You need a rooted GlowLight 4 Plus (BNRV1300) with Magisk, and KOReader allowed to change system settings. Skip the separate sleep-cover module, which also turns off temperature warnings.
The author confirmed the modules install but hasn't fully tested wake and page turns together. There's no license file, so reuse terms are unclear.
