Self-hostedManage cameras and feed your own recorder
Nodelink Manager provides a browser dashboard, live video, and camera controls over Reolink’s Baichuan protocol. It sends RTSP streams to your own recorder and shares supported motion and doorbell events through MQTT, a messaging protocol used by home automation systems.
Run it on a Linux server or build it on a Mac with Node.js 22 or newer. The Manager is beta, and owner reports describe missing recent Docker images, stream interruptions, and battery sleep problems. Check the installed version and your camera’s behavior before using it for unattended recording.
Choose an explicit local connection mode to keep video on your network. Automatic detection can try Reolink’s servers or a relay, and direct battery-camera events need compatible SMTP or webhook firmware.
