Command lineControl a Midea air conditioner from your terminal
Read and control a compatible Midea air conditioner from a terminal over your local network. msmart-ng supplies discovery, query and control commands, including a capability check before using model-specific settings. The PortaSplit route is documented by the project’s users and companion bridge.
Use Python 3.10 or later and already saved device credentials for V3 units: fresh NetHomePlus token lookup has a reported failure. Manual CLI connections use TCP port 6444; dehumidifiers and unsupported V1 devices are excluded. Local commands do not guarantee that every module stays connected when its internet access is blocked.
