MINI and BMW Open-Part Alerts
Self-hostedGet a phone alert when a window or door stays open
This server watches the official CarData stream and sends a phone notification when a door, window, roof, trunk or hood remains open. Notifications arrive through ntfy, an open-source notification app.
The tested setup is a Countryman E U25 in Türkiye, an iPhone and Linux; other cars and Android are unverified. Free personal CarData still needs an eligible car and an active connected contract, and delayed readings can delay alerts. The default ntfy service receives notification text; your own ntfy server is an alternative.
- Use your car in home automations
- Optional all-closed confirmation
- Timed reminders for open parts
