Local MEATER cook tracking in Home Assistant
This Home Assistant integration (Home Assistant is a self-hosted home automation hub) reads original MEATER and MEATER+ probes over Bluetooth through a local adapter or an ESPHome Bluetooth proxy. It exposes raw and smoothed temperatures, heating rate and inferred cook states, and keeps the last 25 cooks locally.
It needs Home Assistant 2026.3 or newer and HACS. The README calls it a public beta: temperature readings are stable, but inserted, cooking and resting states are inferred. Other MEATER generations are not confirmed, and the probe's single Bluetooth connection must be free of the app.
How did it go? Tips, problems, questions…
