MagicPods for Linux
AppAirPods battery and noise controls on Linux
MagicPods for Linux is a desktop app for battery levels, noise modes and other supported headphone settings. It uses the local MagicPodsCore service, which talks directly to AirPods over Bluetooth.
The public source can be built without buying the Steam release. The documented test systems are Ubuntu and Kubuntu 26.04 and SteamOS 3.7.24; automatic ear-detection pause is still a requested feature.
- See earbud and case battery levels
- Change listening modes without an iPhone
- Bluetooth codec selection
- Model-specific press timing and microphone settings
