Plug-inFilter selected LG ad and telemetry domains
LG TV Blocklist supplies annotated DNS rules for Pi-hole and AdGuard Home, self-hosted services that filter network lookups. It blocks selected LG advertising and telemetry hosts, with separate safe and strict presets.
Its main audit used a G1 in Germany, and the safe preset omits some replacement service hosts whose evidence is weaker. Strict rules can break the Content Store, ThinQ, LG Channels and firmware updates; DNS filtering does not remove YouTube video ads or stop traffic that bypasses the chosen resolver.
