Kobalt
AppUse a different EPUB reader inside Kobo's library
Kobalt opens your DRM-free EPUBs, including unprotected Kobo purchases, with a different reading engine, straight from Kobo's library. Kobo's software still handles dictionaries, reading progress and reading sessions.
It's a beta, and you pick the package for your firmware, including 5.18 and 6.x. Protected books, previews, PDFs and other formats open in Kobo's built-in reader instead. A beta Android version also runs on Boox readers.
- Read PDFs and comics in a better app
- Set it as the default EPUB reader
- Open a book from its long-press menu
