Use Surface touch and pen input on Linux
IPTSD translates raw Surface touchscreen and pen data into standard Linux input events. It supplies the userspace processing needed alongside the supported kernel driver, making touch and stylus input usable in compatible applications.
Install it through the linux-surface package repository with the correct IPTS or ITHC driver. Support here is limited to the listed Intel models. Debian packages require Debian 11 or Ubuntu 22.04 or newer; gestures and pen features also depend on the desktop and application.
