MCP serverLet an AI assistant read local AirPods battery
ibattery-mcp is an MCP server, a local tool connection for AI apps, that exposes battery and charging status from your Mac. It listens to AirPods Bluetooth advertisements through a separate helper and falls back to macOS's Bluetooth status report.
The author verified AirPods 4 but did not identify the ANC variant, and closed-case per-bud status can be unknown. Build the current source on macOS 13 or newer and launch its helper with Bluetooth permission; the Homebrew formula still targets v0.1.0, whose source lists AirPods as planned and contains no AirPods parser.
