Plug-inKeep stereo playback with a silent Mac microphone
Hush adds a virtual microphone that supplies silence, so apps can open an input without selecting the AirPods microphone. This can keep AirPods in their stereo playback profile on Macs without a built-in microphone.
Install its macOS audio plug-in and select Hush as input. Apps receive silence while it is selected, so choose a real microphone before a conversation.
