Use Tempest weather readings in Apple Home
This plug-in uses Homebridge, a bridge to Apple Home, to read your Tempest hub’s local broadcasts and expose weather readings to HomeKit. Use temperature, humidity, light and weather thresholds in home automations.
Homebridge must receive the hub’s UDP broadcasts on the same local network. Wind speed appears as a fan value, and some weather triggers appear as motion or occupancy sensors. Local mode lacks daily accumulated rainfall; the optional cloud mode needs a WeatherFlow token.
