Use live weather readings without a cloud connection
Home Assistant, a home automation server, listens to weather updates broadcast by your Tempest hub on the local network. It exposes measurements such as wind, rain and lightning for your own dashboard and automations.
The hub and Home Assistant must share the same network subnet. These are local observations rather than forecasts, and they can differ from the adjusted values in the Tempest app; cloud forecasts use a separate integration.
