Plug-inControl a Gen1 Rivian from Apple Home and Siri
Homebridge Rivian adds vehicle controls to Homebridge, a bridge that brings unsupported devices into Apple Home. It uses Rivian's private cloud API for locks, cabin preconditioning, windows and supported powered closures.
Controls require a Gen1 R1T or R1S and one-time Bluetooth pairing of a new phone key near the vehicle. Pairing needs Chrome or Edge on a Bluetooth computer, or Chrome on Android, and uses one of the vehicle's phone-key slots. After pairing, normal Apple Home and Siri use runs through the cloud.
