Plug-inDish sensors, reboot and stow in Home Assistant
This built-in Home Assistant integration polls the dish's local gRPC interface and adds sensors for ping, ping drop rate, throughput, data totals, power use, energy, and the dish's azimuth and elevation. It also adds status flags such as obstructed, heating, sleeping, update available and motors stuck. Home Assistant is a free home-automation system you run yourself.
It adds a reboot button and switches for stowing the dish and the sleep schedule, so automations can control the dish. Location tracking also depends on what the current dish firmware and plan expose; do not rely on it being available.
You need Home Assistant on the same network as the dish. In bypass mode, with your own router, you must open a route to the dish or the integration won't work, per its docs. Which dish generations it supports isn't stated in the docs.
