Plug-inUse Hue lights and sensors in local automations
This integration brings a Hue Bridge's lights, scenes and accessories into Home Assistant, a self-hosted home automation system. It uses the bridge's local API, with immediate event updates on supported newer bridges and polling on the round first-generation bridge.
The lights must already be paired to a Hue Bridge, and setup requires pressing its link button. Existing Hue scenes can be activated, but scene creation and editing remain in the Hue app; the HDMI Sync Box needs its own integration.
