Run a Hue-compatible bridge on your own server
diyHue emulates a Hue Bridge on a Linux host and brings lights from supported gateways into Hue-compatible apps. Hue lights can reach it through Zigbee2MQTT or deCONZ, which are local Zigbee gateway systems, instead of a physical Hue Bridge.
You need an always-on host and a separate radio gateway for Zigbee lights. App pairing and entertainment support vary, and its built-in connector to a physical Hue Bridge still uses HTTP, so it is not a verified route to a current Bridge Pro.
The bridge emulator and sensors are Apache-2.0 licensed. Separate code in the Lights directory is CC BY-NC 4.0, while images, documentation and PCB designs use CC BY-SA 4.0; those terms do not apply uniformly to the whole repository.
