Plug-inUse Ford vehicle readings in home automations
FordConnect Query brings your car's location, fuel or battery level, odometer and other available readings into Home Assistant, a home automation server. It polls Ford's official API and cannot lock, start or charge the car.
You need a connected vehicle, a Ford account and an OAuth application registered in your region's developer portal. Developer registration is free; a complete public per-call price schedule was not found, and Ford says EU customers can access their data free of charge. Sensor coverage varies by vehicle, especially the European Explorer and Capri.
