Use camera streams and events in Home Assistant
This integration brings supported Dahua and Amcrest camera streams, motion events and device controls into Home Assistant, a home-automation server. It talks directly to the camera’s local HTTP API and uses RTSP for video.
Use Home Assistant 2026.8 or newer, enable the required local camera APIs and create a suitable camera account. Features depend on the model and firmware; H.264 streams are the practical choice for Home Assistant playback. The exact models listed here appear in the project’s confirmed-device table.
