Printer status and controls in Home Assistant
Home Assistant Bambu Lab is a custom integration for Home Assistant, a self-hosted smart home platform. It reads the printer's state (temperatures, progress, AMS trays, HMS errors, camera) and exposes controls and automations. It connects either to Bambu Cloud with your account, or directly to the printer over the local network with its IP address and access code.
You need a running Home Assistant and HACS, its community store. On firmware with Bambu's authorization control, reading data keeps working, but control actions need the printer in LAN Mode with Developer Mode on, which cuts the printer off from Bambu Cloud and the Handy app. The docs also say some entities, like cover image and print weight, need prints stored on an SD card or USB drive on H2D, H2S and P2S.
