gpwebcam
AppStart your GoPro webcam when an app needs it
gpwebcam manages a GoPro webcam from a Linux tray and starts streaming when an app opens the virtual camera. It can record the feed locally and reconnect when the camera is plugged back in.
The documented camera test uses a HERO13 Black on firmware 02.10 with Arch Linux; packages are also provided for other distributions. Install FFmpeg and v4l2loopback, and use a separate microphone.
