Plug-inRestream Nest cameras to RTSP clients
The Nest source in go2rtc, a video-stream bridge, converts Google Device Access live streams into formats your own recorder or dashboard can use. It supports both the RTSP and WebRTC protocols reported by Google. A separate recorder can save the received feed without Google Home Premium.
You need a running go2rtc server and Google Device Access credentials, including the US$5 registration. Owners report WebRTC startup failures and repeated stream interruptions, so sustained recording needs checking on each setup. Google remains in the access path, and the source does not fetch historical recordings or Nest motion and doorbell events.
