Use SmartHQ appliances in Home Assistant
GE’s integration brings appliance services into Home Assistant, a home automation hub, using the official SmartHQ cloud API. It creates controls and readings for refrigerators, laundry, dishwashers and supported cooking appliances from the services each model publishes.
You need a SmartHQ account, a developer app registration and Home Assistant. Public API coverage is narrower than the phone app: ovens have basic toggles rather than cooking controls, and owners report missing or unreliable readings on specific refrigerators, laundry and HVAC models.
