FirmwareTurn the FM-1 into a playable cat-sample instrument
Cat Piano replaces the FM-1 firmware with four banks of pitched meows, velocity-sensitive playback, effects and a four-track sequencer. MIDI input can play the instrument too.
Install the project firmware over USB with its Python installer. This is an early instrument: patterns live only in RAM and disappear at power-off, some sequencer controls are unfinished, and on-device CPU load has not been measured.
