fitstitch
AppJoin split workouts without uploading your files
fitstitch joins FIT recordings that were accidentally stopped and saved as separate activities. Its browser app processes the files locally, and a Python command line version runs the same merge code.
Export the original FIT files before starting; the project includes a real split Suunto Ambit3 Sport recording as a test case. It refuses multisport and pool-swimming files, cannot recover missing samples and cannot recalculate the watch's proprietary fitness measures.
- Trim and repair recorded activities
- Local browser processing
- Preserves recorded FIT messages and lap data
- Checks the merged file before saving
