Fire TV Glass
AppUse a simple app dock on your Fire TV
Replaces Amazon’s home screen with an app dock and grid, and provides reversible scripts to disable selected promotional and telemetry packages. Dock apps, hidden apps and wallpaper can be changed without rebuilding.
The documented test is a Fire TV Stick 4K AFTKRT on Fire OS 8, based on Android 11. Setup builds the Android app on a Mac and connects over ADB. A small accessibility service redirects Home because Fire OS can ignore the default-home setting; other firmware and Vega OS are not verified.
- Remove ads from the home screen
- Dock configuration without rebuilding
- Restore script for disabled packages
